TUESDAY January 20, 2015

Work Session- Discussion on the fire house was made and the council feels that before for papers are signed to commit us to this project they would like a concrete report about where the payment will be coming from. Clerk Jenni will have the information soon and check to see if we can use the same public hearing to talk to boat owners about business licensing.
Heather would like to address the access by the boat storage that Quill could go up past the boat storage.

Standing Reports-
Chief Horning. Three calls so far in January. Bingo was done last night and $286 was donated. The fire dept will try to have bingo on a monthly basis. The park service is having a refresher and they will send some people. EMT training will start soon and there will be three people going to EMS School. Tony felt that is was a disappointing turn out to the Bingo night. Suggestions made were to do it on a Saturday or to put in the town newsletter. The fire dept will do training every other week one week EMT and one week fire and the week in between being just an information meeting.
Utility Board- A water leak happened last week. It was a four inch line. The leak was able to get fixed that day. Taking out the water that was lost due to the leak our monthly loss is still at a manageable rate. Merle asked how we went from 3G to 4G. Heather explained that Verizon boosted data out here. Garbage pickup is on Wednesday’s and it is going pretty well. Commercial applications are going well and Republic is trying to work with us. Recycle bins at the visitor center are not always full and people are welcome to use them.
