Fireworks Ban in Effect in Big Water Until Further Notice

From Fire Chief Horning:

NOTICE: The Use of Fireworks Within the City Limits of Big Water
Utah Is Prohibited

Due to the extremely hazardous environmental conditions the use
of fireworks within the boundaries of The City of Big Water Utah is
prohibited. This order is by the authority of Pat Horning, Chief, Big
Water Fire and Rescue.

This action also includes open burning of any material or open
fires. Small controlled and contained barbeque grills will be allowed as
long as they are closely attended.

Voting Times and Info for the Proposed Sewer System Revenue Bonds

There will be a Special Bond Election regarding the $2,119,000 revenue bond for the proposed Big Water Centralized Wastewater (Sewer) System on June 26, 2012.

The polling place is at Big Water Town Hall - 60 Aaron Burr, Big Water, UT.

Regular voting will be June 26,2012 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (UTAH TIME).

BIG WATER CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN

Big Water Municipal Corporation would like to encourage a clean up of our residential areas by focusing on maintaining a basic level of quality within our town. We are asking all residents and property owners to join us in making Big Water clean by acting responsibly when disposing of unwanted items such as trash, bulky items, and construction debris and by looking after their properties.
